Each month, OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Allen County recognizes one outstanding high school student as its Student Employee of the Month. For October 2026, we are proud to recognize Wyatt Taviano, whose dedication, strong work ethic, and commitment to his career goals make him an excellent example of our region’s future workforce.
Wyatt is a senior at Perry High School enrolled in the Electrical Systems Technology program at Apollo Career Center. He currently works at Sprint Electric, Inc., where he plays an important role in daily operations while gaining meaningful hands-on experience in the electrical field. Through his work, Wyatt has strengthened his technical skills, learned to troubleshoot real-world electrical challenges, and built a solid foundation in the trade.
Wyatt’s reliability, eagerness to learn, and focus on quality stand out in every task he takes on. His developing expertise and consistent work ethic highlight his dedication to both his education and his future profession in the electrical industry.
Looking ahead, Wyatt plans to continue working in the electrical field after graduation and pursue his electrician journeyman’s license. His current role has helped affirm his long-term goals and provided valuable experience as he prepares for the next step in his career.
