OhioMeansJobs Allen County’s Student Employee of the Month — Bailee Calvert!
Each month, OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Allen County recognizes one outstanding high school student as its Student Employee of the Month. For November 2026, we are proud to recognize Bailee Calvert, whose strong work ethic, determination, and commitment to her future make her an exceptional representation of Allen County’s emerging workforce.
Bailee is a senior at Bath High School and a dedicated student in the Welding and Fabrication program at Apollo Career Center. She is also making history as the first-ever intern at RMF Nooter’s Lima, Ohio location, where she plays a meaningful role in daily operations while gaining real-world experience in the welding trade. Through her internship, Bailee has strengthened her technical skills, learned to navigate the demands of an active industrial environment, and built a solid foundation for her future career in the skilled trades.
Bailee’s reliability, eagerness to develop her craft, and strong sense of responsibility shine through in every task she takes on. Her hands-on experience, paired with the high expectations she sets for herself, demonstrate her dedication to both her education and her long-term professional goals.
Looking ahead, Bailee plans to join the union after graduation and continue advancing her career as a welder. Her internship has reinforced her passion for the trade and provided valuable exposure to the type of work she hopes to pursue long-term.
OhioMeansJobs Allen County congratulates Bailee Calvert on being named November’s Student Employee of the Month and celebrates her hard work, ambition, and passion for welding. We look forward to following her journey as she continues to grow and succeed in her field.
