Each month, OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Allen County recognizes one outstanding high school student as its Student Employee of the Month. For January 2025, we are proud to highlight Levi, whose strong work ethic, growth on the job, and commitment to learning skilled trades make him a great example of our region’s future workforce.
Levi is a student at Temple Christian High School and works at Elida Road Tire, where he assists with day-to-day shop operations and automotive services. Since starting his position, Levi has demonstrated consistent growth and a willingness to learn. He began by helping with basic tire services and has since expanded his skill set to include performing oil changes and assisting with brake jobs.
Levi’s progression reflects his dedication, reliability, and hands-on learning approach. He takes pride in his work, supports his team wherever needed, and continues to build valuable technical skills that will serve him well beyond high school. His ability to learn new tasks and take on greater responsibility shows maturity and a strong commitment to personal and professional development.
After graduation, Levi plans to continue working at Elida Road Tire, gaining further experience and strengthening his foundation in the automotive field. His determination and steady growth make him a standout student employee and an asset to his workplace.
