ALLEN COUNTY, OH – November is “Hire a Veteran Month” in Ohio, a time dedicated to honoring those who serve our country. This year, OhioMeansJobs Allen County is proud to celebrate a high school senior who’s already shown his dedication to service: Amarion Jackson.
Amarion is a senior at Perry High School and has earned the title of OhioMeansJobs Allen County Student Employee of the Month. He’s proven himself as a hardworking and responsible student, and what makes his story even more inspiring is that he’s committed to joining the military after he graduates.
With his strong work ethic and leadership skills, Amarion stands out among his peers. His decision to serve our country shows his commitment to something bigger than himself, and we couldn’t be prouder to recognize him during a month focused on honoring veterans and future service members.
OhioMeansJobs Allen County is thrilled to celebrate Amarion’s achievements and highlight the impact young people like him can have. As we observe Hire a Veteran Month, we also express our gratitude to all current and future military members who work to protect our freedom. Amarion reminds us of the bright future ahead, and thank you to the next generation stepping up to serve!
