Each month, OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Allen County recognizes one outstanding high school student as its Student Employee of the Month. For September 2026, we are proud to recognize Kameron Woods, whose dedication, strong work ethic, and commitment to his career goals make him a great example of our region’s future workforce.
Kameron is a senior at Lima Senior High School enrolled in their Culinary Arts program. He currently works at Spring & Main – Casa Lu Al as kitchen help, playing a vital role in day-to-day operations by washing dishes, operating the fryer, and assisting with food preparation. Through his position, Kameron has gained valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, honing essential culinary skills and mastering the fundamentals of food service operations.
Kameron’s strong work ethic and attention to detail shine in the kitchen. He takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly, maintaining high standards, and supporting the rest of the culinary team wherever needed. His drive to learn and reliable nature reflect his maturity and genuine passion for the culinary arts.
Looking to the future, Kameron plans to build on his culinary training and hands-on experience to pursue a career in catering. His current role has helped solidify his goals and provided a strong foundation as he prepares for the next chapter of his professional journey.
