Each month, OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Allen County recognizes one outstanding high school student as its Student Employee of the Month. For March 2026, we are proud to recognize Madalyn McKee, whose compassion, dedication, and commitment to serving others make her an excellent example of our region’s future workforce.
Madalyn is a senior at Perry High School, where she has balanced her academic responsibilities with meaningful hands-on work experience. She currently serves as a bus aide, assisting students with disabilities as they safely board and exit the bus each day. In addition, she has worked as a teacher’s aide for the past several years, supporting elementary-aged students in their learning and development.
Through her roles, Madalyn has developed patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. Working closely with children has strengthened her ability to adapt, remain calm under pressure, and provide encouragement to students who need extra support. She believes that these experiences are helping her grow both personally and professionally while preparing her for her future career.
After graduation, Madalyn plans to attend OSU Lima to pursue a degree in Social Work. Her current work experience has reinforced her desire to advocate for and support individuals and families in need. By starting her career journey now, Madalyn is building a strong foundation for a future dedicated to helping others.
OhioMeansJobs Allen County congratulates Madalyn McKee on being named March’s Student Employee of the Month and celebrates her hard work, compassion, and commitment to making a difference. We look forward to seeing her continue to grow and succeed in the field of social work.
