OhioMeansJobs Allen County’s May Student Employee of the Month — Joseph Miller!
Each month, OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Allen County recognizes one outstanding high school student as its Student Employee of the Month. For May 2026, we are proud to recognize Joseph Miller, whose dedication, work ethic, and commitment to his career goals make him a great example of our region’s future workforce.
Joseph is a senior at Delphos Jefferson High School and works at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Delphos, where he plays an important role assisting customers and supporting daily store operations. His responsibilities include helping customers identify and locate the correct parts, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Through his position, Joseph has gained valuable hands-on experience in customer service and the automotive field. He is continually learning more about vehicles and parts, using this opportunity to build a strong foundation for his future career. His willingness to learn, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others reflect both his strong work ethic and passion for the industry.
After graduation, Joseph plans to attend the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH), where he will study High Performance Technology. His current work experience has helped prepare him for this next step and reinforces his long-term career goals in the automotive field.
