OhioMeansJobs Discuss Free Job Seeker Services on Noon Edition

At OhioMeansJobs Allen County, we’re proud to provide a wide range of free, accessible services designed to help job seekers take the next step in their career journey. Recently, during a Noon Edition segment on Your Hometown Stations, we highlighted how our team supports community members with personalized career coaching, resume and interview preparation, hands‑on workshops, and walk‑in access to essential job‑search tools like computers, printers, and internet connectivity. We also shared how our hiring events connect job seekers directly with employers who are ready to hire, and how our training and certification opportunities help individuals build the in‑demand skills local industries need. In addition to serving all job seekers, we offer priority assistance for veterans, dislocated workers, and others facing employment barriers. We’re equally committed to helping employers by offering candidate pre‑screening, job posting support, and on‑the‑job training programs—creating a stronger workforce for Allen County. Whether someone is starting fresh, changing careers, or rebuilding after a setback, our mission is to make sure every member of our community has the tools, support, and confidence to achieve meaningful employment.
